The award, a dream of every F& B Retailer is given by the Indian Food Forum 2009, backed by the IRF and the final awardees was based on a comprehensive representation of key stake holders in the business to ensure all key parties have a say in the matter. Self nomination consisting of information such as turnover, number of outlets, future plans and innovations; opinion poll interviews amongst consumers and voting by a panel of industry experts were taken into consideration before choosing the winner of this prestigious award.
The final nominees were run past an eminent jury consisting of ND Siva Kumar PWC, Ravi Naware of ITC Foods, Hemant Kalbag of AT Kerney, Ireena Vittal Mckinsey, Mehul Maroo KSA, Dipankar Sanwalka KPMG and Utpal Sengupta AT foods. IRIS as the knowledge partner added authenticity to the whole award selection procedure.
The journey to glory was not easy. A sustained performance of the restaurant chain in the various sectors since its inception in 1996 not only registered tremendous growth in the last decade but has proved itself to be the numero uno among all food connoisseurs. |
